OK, so, this post won't have anything to do with running (because I'm a lazy ass who has no motivation...yet...gotta dream big, right?), but I just wanted to log a workout. It claims to burn 1,000 calories, but I'm not sure. I mean, I don't feel like I lost 1/7th of a pound of my fat. Anyways, the workout is:
100 Jumping Jacks
100 Crunches
100 Squats
25 Pushups
....Do this three times, then do 100 more jumping jacks and 25 pushups. This comes to a frightening total of:
400 Jumping Jacks
300 Crunches
200 Squats (sorry, the info above is a little bit off, don't sue me)
100 Pushups
...Now, let me start off by saying I'm about 5 foot, 2 inches and weigh about 187 or so....as embarrassing as that is to put out on the internet for God and everybody to see. For the most part, this wasn't that hard. Except the jumping jacks. I was about ready to chew my own legs off at jumping jack #360...BUT I made it, and here's to hoping I can actually move tomorrow. I did sustain a slight rug burn on my left knee from doing girly pushups, but oh well. My form sucked on probably all of these exercises, but hey, I'm going from, like, almost no fitness to this.
My main point is (if anybody is following or reading this): Do you think the "This burns 1,000 calories!!" is an accurate assessment of this workout?
